A terrorist attack involving the explosion of an explosives-laden car has occurred in Syria’s southern Daraa province, amid ongoing unrest in the Middle Eastern country.
A ‘terrorist’ blew up a vehicle at an intersection in Daraa near the border with Jordan on Saturday.
Syria's official news agency SANA said the attack has caused “unspecified casualties,” while, some sources put the death toll at two.
Syrian officials have not commented on the number of casualties, yet.
Armed groups have targeted many governmental institutions and security agencies in Syria since mid-March last year when the unrest hit the country.
Hundred of people, including security forces, have been killed in the turmoil.
While the West and the Syrian opposition accuse the government of the killings, Damascus blames ''outlaws, saboteurs and armed terrorist groups'' for the unrest, stating that it is being orchestrated from abroad.
